Got a call from 02037694988 earlier claiming to be from Carphone Warehouse, offering me a new contract with O2. Thing is, Carphone Warehouse hasn’t sold O2 phones in ages. I’m pretty sure I’ve been scammed and I’m feeling really upset and anxious about it. I got a call from 0203 769 4988 saying I was due a refund for a PPI claim that was turned down a while ago. They seemed to know loads of details about the original claim. The person on the phone asked for my email to send me further info about the refund. Even though I felt doubtful, I gave them my email address. Can someone use my email to scam me now? What should I do next? I’d really appreciate any advice!

This number rang but it was completely silent on the other end. Figured it could be someone I know, so I phoned back. Turns out it was some call centre and they told me it was about an accident I supposedly was involved in...

Got a call from this number but it didn’t leave any voicemail. Pretty sure it’s just another annoying scam, so I’ve gone ahead and blocked it.

I keep getting calls from this number but whenever I pick up, there's just silence on the other end.

I got two phone calls within like five minutes of each other, and both times they left a voicemail that was nearly four minutes long but had absolutely nothing said in them. So weird!
