So, this woman said she was ringing from Carphone Warehouse and tried to sell me an iPhone deal. When I said no thanks, she switched to pushing a Samsung instead. After I said no again, she started asking me to give her a mate or family member's number so she could call them. She just wouldn’t quit pestering me for someone else's contact, so I had to hang up. Since then, the same number has called me two more times, but I just ignored them.

Really happy I looked up this number and saw all the reviews here. Some deal offering an iPhone Pro Max for £30 a month with unlimited calls and 200 minutes abroad really sounded fishy. I asked the woman to email me the offer details and said I’d ring back. The email seemed legit but something didn’t sit right with me. Checked Carphone’s official site - no deals like that at all! Got about six calls from this number in just a few hours, so I’ve just blocked it now.

Someone said they were from Carphone Warehouse, trying to sell me an upgrade for £50 a month. Total con. I pretended not to know much and asked where they got my number from. They claimed to be official dealers and said it came from my phone provider. When I asked which one, there was a pause and then they said O2. Honestly, I just wanted to keep them on the line as long as possible to stop them from ringing someone else who might’ve fallen for it. They eventually hung up when the chat started going nowhere.
