Got a call about some deal from Carphone, ended up losing £30. They sent out just a SIM card, nothing else. Now they're ringing back saying I've been sent the wrong phone. They even rang my husband saying he'll be billed £90 for the 'wrong phone', which isn’t true cause all we got was a SIM. This feels like a complete rip-off!

It looks like this number might be linked to forex trading, and it could very well be an international line. There’s a fair few dodgy characters from the East operating scams like those fake Microsoft tech support calls and other ring blocking tricks. Best to steer clear!

Just within the last few hours, I've been using FXCM, which as far as I know is quite a trusted platform. Now my browser is swamped with ads from them thanks to the cookies saved on my device. I got a call that seemed to come from a call centre pushing a competitor of FXCM (maybe other businesses too).
