I reckon these callers are from somewhere in Asia, so I'd just ignore what they're saying, it's all rubbish.

Got a call where they said I better ring them back with a solicitor or else there’d be trouble. Didn’t bother calling them back at all. Pretty sure HMRC would never leave a message like that.

Said they were from HMRC, but it’s definitely a dodgy call! Watch out, it’s a scam!

I got a call from 020 3769 0669 claiming to be from HMRC. Honestly, don't bother ringing them back. Just block and delete the number straight away. HM Revenue & Customs would never ring you up like that, especially not telling you to call back with a lawyer. Total nonsense, be careful!

Did you end up notifying anyone about that number?

I've received a message pretending to be from Customs, warning me of an arrest warrant in my name. They even said my bank account, credit cards, passport, and driving licence would be seized! It's nothing but a scam, pure and simple.

I've been receiving calls from this number over the past few days, and it’s quite unsettling. Clearly, it’s a scam; HMRC would never reach out via phone, only through the post.

Customs & Excise HMRC never share info, so this one smelled fishy to me. Definitely a scam!

Got a call from a number that claimed it was the tax fraud dept, saying the person had been involved in fraud. I tried calling back and the line had this odd crackling sound before it went dead. When I phoned again later, there was no answer at all.

I had a rather unsettling experience with this number. They rang me up, insisting that I had an outstanding debt of £14,000 with HMRC, but they stumbled through my details, using the wrong address and name, and mentioning completely inaccurate dates. Clearly, this is a SCAM! I highly recommend you block this number immediately. The caller had a foreign accent, and the message was quite alarming. They even left a voicemail pressing me to call back urgently and asked for someone named Sarah Wilson. Stay safe!

I've had a couple of phone calls from this number over the past few days. I chose not to pick up, and they left messages, which I’m intentionally avoiding since I reckon it’s just a scam. I’m planning to reach out to EE to see if they can block this number, as I don't fancy paying to listen to voicemails from these dodgy callers.

I received a rather alarming call, purporting to be from HMRC. The individual on the line was quite menacing, insisting that they were set to initiate legal proceedings regarding some supposed debt that I apparently owe. They threw in the name 'Pamela,' which was rather odd. After the initial threatening voicemail, I spoke with a gentleman who had a noticeable Asian accent. It’s quite clear that this is a classic ruse aimed at robbing honest folks of their hard-earned cash.
