I've come across these fraudsters who are insisting that I've got a PPI refund awaiting me. They keep insisting that I must fork out some legal fees since the arrangement was supposedly 'no win, no fee'. Once they claim the case was successful, they say those fees suddenly become due before I can access my payment. Then, out of nowhere, they hit me with a demand for a hefty 20% tax as well! It just doesn't end, does it?

I received a call from PPi, claiming that I'm due a £5000 payment. The person on the line had an accent that sounded Indian.

I've been receiving calls from this number, and I can confirm it's a robotic caller. It appears to be linked to a group of scammers from India, employing tactics such as threats of arrest warrants from HMRC or trying to pull off that Amazon Prime scam! Quite the nuisance, to say the least!
