I've been bombarded with texts claiming I've signed up for WinMarks 77 games at a cost of £9 a week, which is completely baffling to me as I'm not even a phone person. I contacted Vodafone about the issue, and the chap I spoke to suggested that I must have opted in myself, leaving me feeling rather helpless. It's incredibly frustrating to see those charges piling up on my bill!

Yeah, just like everyone else here, I got charged £160 too.

I've been bombarded with messages from this number claiming I've signed up to some sort of scheme that costs me £9 weekly to win prizes. This has been occurring since the 21st of December, and it's really starting to get under my skin. I absolutely refuse to use the provided number to respond, nor do I intend to call them directly. I'm definitely feeling swindled and it's causing me a fair bit of stress.

Be careful everyone, I just got stung with an extra £123 tacked onto my regular bill. Total scam.

I’ve just discovered that I’m paying £9 every week for a service I haven’t got a clue about! What on earth is going on?

Just like everyone else here, I’m stuck wondering how to make them stop taking my money. Any ideas?

Got a message from this number saying I'd be charged £9 a week for some Tesco contest. I rang Vodafone right away and they sorted it by blocking this number along with other premium rate ones. They were really good about it.

Drop them an email at help@careformobile[###] asking to cancel all their services and demand some compensation for the number they wrongly targeted. Also, get in touch with your mobile provider and request to switch on the 'account charge bar' - this stops any charges being added to your phone bill. Unless you regularly buy stuff through your phone account, but I can't really imagine why anyone would. If things don’t improve, report them directly to PhonepayPlus. I’m currently dealing with the same kind of mess involving 77games myself.

Got a message claiming it was free but then said I’d been billed £9 for some lid draw thing from 77games. I looked at my phone bill and yep, there’s a £9 charge. The text had a helpline number, 02037509075, but I’m a bit scared to call it in case they rip me off with more charges. This feels dodgy, surely it’s illegal? What can I do to stop them taking any more money from me?

Has anyone actually got a reply by email? I haven't called the number after seeing these comments. I got a message through Facebook saying I'd won some prize and that money would be taken from my phone bill. Would really appreciate any advice, thanks!

total pain in the neck, Vodafone weren’t much help either but at least they gave me an email to try and cancel the service. I’ll let you know if they ever reply to my message or not.

I get those too, they’re so annoying! Has anyone figured out a way to block or stop these calls for good? Would really appreciate some advice on what actually works.

I'm having the same issue and it's driving me mad. I've tried sending the 'stop' message like 10 times now and it just doesn't work. Properly fed up with it all.

There's definitely something fishy going on. I'll be contacting Tesco about this.

This morning I had the exact same thing happen; trying to figure out how to track it down and who to report it to.
