Really dodgy situation like others have said here. I stopped answering their calls and then suddenly got a ring from 00 447488872368, but the caller ID didn’t show any number whatsoever. Felt quite sketchy to say the least.

Someone called saying they were from Binance but it was a total scam. They tried to get me to download Anydesk on my laptop. Watch out, they already had bits of your personal info like your address and birthday. Proper dodgy!

16/01/2023 4:09pm Today I got a call from this number and it freaked me out a bit. They addressed me by name and even said “bonjour,” which was weird because I’m in Spain with a Spanish phone number, though I was born in Paris. Makes me wonder if they somehow have access to my Spanish ID? Very unsettling. Hello Binance KYC, I guess. I just got my Binance card a couple days ago and started using it. To be safe, I’ve uninstalled the Binance app from my mobile phone since I never actually use it there - only trade on my PC. None of my family, friends or workmates know I’m into Binance or crypto at all. Watch out, people.

I looked into it and apparently Binance doesn’t really call people outside their platform. So I’d say there’s a pretty high chance, like 90%, that this is a scam. Heard it somewhere on Binance Academy too.

I’ve been putting money into Binance, which then got transferred to some dodgy, unregulated trading site. Today I cleared the last credit deal with that trading company, which was supposed to free up all my funds. But within minutes of me sorting the final payment, this number rang me up saying I was linked to a flagged wallet. It was a bloke called Ray Cannon on the phone. He’s asking me to add more money to my Binance account and also let him access my PC through AnyDesk tomorrow. Apparently, he claims they can get my money back as long as I have the same amount sitting in my Binance account. I’m really worried my whole trading setup has been a con, but I’m also thinking this call might be a scam in itself.

Got a call from Belgium today, looked like total scammers. They claimed to be from Binance support and said I'd won some cryptocurrency or something. They even had my phone number and email, which was creepy. Don't trust them or follow anything they tell you. Best to steer clear completely! If you get calls like this, definitely report them!

Somebody rang claiming they were from Binance Smart Chain contracts, said they could help me renew my contract, but it felt fishy.

I got a call from someone claiming they were with the Blockchain Support Team, telling me that because of some recent activity on my account, I could claim a reward in BTC or some other token. They even threw in the Binance logo to make it look legit. Be warned! I asked for their email since I don’t have the patience for scams. The message they sent me said something like:

“Following recent activity on your account, you’re qualified to receive rewards. Please log into your Binance account to engage with the Blockchain network, and once you’ve done that, the rewards will be added to your account.”

It’s definitely a scam, so make sure to report them to the authorities!

Some clever scammers called me pretending to be from Binance support, telling me I’d won a bonus and trying to get me to do what they said. While I was on the phone, I looked up the number online and stumbled across this site (big thanks for having it). That’s when I found out loads of others have been caught out too. Do they share these reports with the cops at Charing Cross in London?

Hey, just wanted to share my experience with someone claiming to be from Binance Support. The guy called Michael Marchetti kept throwing around terms like smart contract and stuff I didn’t understand. I’m French, and he told me to click around the Binance website ‘cause there was some bonus. I didn’t really know what I was doing and ended up losing about £6,000. Be careful if you get a call from this number or +44 7488 872368 - they’re scammers! I tried reporting it to the French police but they said they can’t do anything since it’s UK territory. If anyone can help stop these crooks, please do. I asked for an email but I never got one. I also messaged Binance but no reply - once was enough for me!
