Somebody called me saying they were from PPI, saying "I heard you had an accident and you weren’t at fault." Thing is, I don’t even have a car! I just walk everywhere. I’m a student. Total SCAM, no doubt. If you get calls like this claiming to be PPI, don’t share any details with them. Don’t get caught out by these scams.

The guy from PPI claimed I sorted it out ages ago but still wanted me to fill in some other form (seemed like he was fishing for my info) and kept saying it’s okay to check again every couple of years.

This number rings me pretty much every day. First time I picked up, I said I wasn’t entitled to any PPI since I never had a credit card. The bloke didn’t really seem bothered and just tried to get my address instead. I told him he’d already said he had my details and should know where I live, then he hung up straight away, only to ring back again about an hour later. I’ve ignored every call from this number since. Looks like a pretty rubbish scammer who can’t take a hint.
