Loads of people here talking about Virgin Media retention calls, which might be why I got one too since I changed my broadband a few days back. Like a few others, I recently chose not to renew my Virgin Media deal. I had to talk to at least five different people, all pushing me to stay with them. I reckon I said “I just want to cancel my contract” about a dozen times before they finally transferred me to the cancellations team, who then also tried their best to change my mind. Feels like they’re hoping to ring me back later to try and get me to reverse my cancellation. I’m not even picking up calls from that number now. I’m pretty sure Sir Branson’s business won’t suffer without my Virgin Media contract anyway.

Not a single clue what the call was about or who was calling. Blocked the number and reported it as spam right away.
