I received a call from a really bustling call centre, and let me tell you, it was deafening! Unfortunately, the chap on the other end had a thick Indian accent, making it quite a challenge to grasp what he was on about. What raised my eyebrows, though, was how he managed to know my complete name! Quite dodgy, if you ask me. I decided to play it safe and blocked his number. Keep your guard up!

Got calls from two different numbers, one ending in 765 and the other 721. Both had the same spiel. I’d pick up one, hang up straight away, then the other number rings right after, trying to fish for my details. If you get a call like that, don’t share anything personal, just hang up and block. These scams are so frustrating and such a waste of time, for everyone really.

Got a call from someone claiming to be Indian, but they were really rude and came across as aggressive. Not a nice experience at all.

I got a call from ubroker.com, some online trading firm supposedly based in Belize, Central America. They somehow got hold of my number without me handing it over. When I asked them to remove it, they said it wasn’t possible. In the end, they promised not to ring me again, but who knows if they mean it.

02037400721 kept ringing me all day, probably because loads of scams from Indian call centres are trying their luck. I’ve blocked them all but still catch the noise through my voicemail - they seem to be sticking around on the line a good while, which is kinda funny cos it’s just wasting their time. This number had that same faint noise of someone munching food and typing really loudly nearby, definitely another dodgy call centre. Seems like a new number to stay clear of so go ahead and block it quick!
