this morning i got a call from someone called alice claiming to be from ast. when i asked what company they represented, she said they handle warranty follow-ups for washing machines after the original warranty runs out. i told her i suspected a scam since she didn’t even know the brand of my washer or who i bought it from. i explained i have a continuous warranty deal but didn’t share any specific info like brand or company. she ended the call right after. definitely a dodgy call, though at least this one wasn’t from an asian-accented voice, so watch out.

I got a call from someone claiming to be a doctor asking why I missed an appointment. I was completely confused because I hadn’t booked anything with them. I told the person they must have the wrong number, and after that, they quickly said sorry and hung up.

got a call from alice at asg i think? they were trying to get me to buy washing machine insurance, which felt fishy. told her to stop ringing my ex's old number and then just ended the call. ended up blocking the number straight away.

There was complete quiet at first, then I heard some gibberish and before I could say anything the call got cut off.

got a call for some mr muir, but it was on a work phone. could hear loads of voices in the back, like a busy call centre or something. reckon mr muir is just a made-up name and they're probably just checking which numbers are still active. seemed a bit fishy to me.
