Turns out this is the Virgin Media Complaints team number. I was just trying to sort out a problem and ended up having the most frustrating phone call ever! I asked if the call could be recorded but was told no way. Asked for stuff in writing, but they just don’t put anything down. The person I spoke to from the Manchester complaints team was shockingly unprofessional and honestly shouldn’t be handling complaints at all!

Got a call from someone claiming to be Virgin Media, said there was a problem with my email address. I purposely said the wrong bits of my password when they asked, and they noticed it wasn’t right. After that, I felt okay giving them the real password. Seems like a scammer wouldn’t have spotted the mistake in my password.

I really need to complain about Virgin Media. I’m paying for 200 but barely get 1 or maybe 5 at best! Usually it’s just 1 and the signal drops out all the time. They blame it on peak hours but most of the time it’s not even busy. No speed promise from them either and nothing ever improves. I keep asking them not to ring me - I’m a vulnerable disabled person and silent calls stress me out big time - yet they keep calling anyway! It’s so frustrating and upsetting.

From what I've read here before, it sounds like it was Virgin Media calling. I picked up almost instantly and they just hung up straight away. If that was Virgin Media, it’s a bit of a joke and really shows how sloppy they are. Doesn’t seem like they care about their CUSTOMERS at all. After how Virgin Media handled this, I’m seriously considering blocking the number, very tempted to do so.

I can say with certainty that this call originates from the Virgin Media complaints team. I received it in the wake of a grievance I lodged, so it’s certainly genuine. A lovely woman was on the other end, very helpful in addressing my concerns. However, a few weeks later, I got a call from that same number, but alas, the chap who rang wasn’t nearly as pleasant, especially since I didn’t see eye to eye with him on certain matters.

It could have been Virgin Media since I have an unresolved matter with them. Honestly, I’m really fed up with phone chats where they keep making promises but never follow through. I had a call purporting to be from Virgin Media, but the person on the other end sounded rather off and definitely not British. They were requesting my bank information, which immediately set alarm bells ringing. To my mind, this reeks of a scam. A genuine Virgin Media representative wouldn’t ask for your entire password or full bank details; they would only need a snippet of the password, not the whole thing. Definitely steer clear of this one!

Somebody rang me sayin they were from Virgin Media but they asked for my bank details and the person didn’t sound like they were from England. To me, it smelled like a scam. If it was really Virgin Media, they wouldn’t be asking for the complete password or all your bank details, just bits of the password at most.
