Then they texted saying it was about my interest in Virgin and to expect a call from an 020 number or 0797164304. Thing is, I never showed any interest in Virgin and my mate used to work there. They claimed to be from HMRC and told me there’s a warrant for my arrest over tax fraud, which isn't true at all. They warned me to press 1 or I’d be arrested soon. I just ended the call immediately.

Got a ring from 020 3706 2803, some bloke claiming to be a manager at Virgin Manchester. He asked why I left Virgin last year and said they’d cover my current contract (which isn’t even with Virgin and still has 8 months left) if I took a new deal. Now they’re texting me from that same number, telling me to call 0161 611 5580. I called Virgin’s official customer service to check and they said there’s no manager by that name. Sounds like a total scam to me.
