I got a ring from this number earlier, but chose to let it slide as the sequence of digits seemed a bit dodgy to me. Plus, I wasn't awaiting any calls from a landline, which also raised my suspicions. It could possibly be linked to a Skype Personal Online Number, who knows? Regardless, I certainly wasn't on the lookout for any calls. I'm not entirely sure whether it's a scam or not, but I've made up my mind to BLOCK this number to prevent any further disturbances.

Received a call from a number I rarely use, primarily kept powered off for emergencies. It had been dormant for months, then I turned it on just to see if the battery was holding up, and within a couple of days, there they were ringing me. Who on earth are they, and what are they after? Probably just trying to fleece me, typical of these scammers. I've already registered my number with the TPS-when are they going to clamp down on these nuisances? Honestly, if only we could take more serious action against such pests!
