I've no clue whose number this is, but I received a call from an Asian lady who mentioned my name. She claimed I’d registered for something, but her accent was so thick that I could barely make out what she was saying. In the end, I ended up disconnecting the call. It’s rather infuriating, really, as I’ve had three calls from this number today, and it’s becoming quite the nuisance!

This number called me 3 times quickly on 23/05/2017 at 16:14. I kept ignoring them cause I don’t recognise anyone with a 020 number, not even official stuff. I blocked the number now but still get calls daily that just say “call restricted.” I’ve muted my phone coz it usually rings when I’m trying to nap. Seriously thinking about getting a new number since it’s so annoying to have to keep my phone on silent all the time. Something really needs to be done about these annoying calls.

I wouldn’t recommend saying yes; they might employ it for other purposes... best to avoid answering or returning the call altogether.

Got a ring from someone called Dwayne at Trade 1 2, asking for Julian. I told him I wasn’t Julian, but then he said since I answered the phone he wanted to chat about their foreign brokerage stuff. I joked that Julian might be mad I’m nicking all his secret tips and £earning all the cash - then Dwayne just cut off!! Dwayne if you see this, give us a shout back, I’m well up for making a fortune LOL

Got a call about some sort of trade software - pretty sure it was a scam. I decided to mess with the bloke a bit. He said his name was Kalvin. Once he caught on that i was having a laugh, he asked if i “thought i was smart”, then went on about how “he knew way more than me” and even claimed he “knew where i lived” before hanging up. Bit creepy tbh, probs no danger but you never know, some of these people could be seriously dodgy! Best just ignore calls like that.

I received a call from this number last Thursday. The caller had an American accent and seemed to know my name, claiming I had signed up for some sort of second income opportunity, which was quite frankly a fabrication. I had just returned home from the hospital after undergoing chemotherapy, so my patience was wearing thin. The conversation took a turn when, after I referred to him as a parasite, he ended the call by hurling an expletive my way. The only reason I picked up was because I'm self-employed, and I thought it might be a potential work inquiry.

Somebody rang me saying they were from Trade 12 and insisted I had clicked on one of their ads to make cash online. They started asking stuff like my age before I cut them off and told them I never clicked any ad and am not interested in making money that way. Then they asked, "Why not earn money?" and that’s when I just said bye and hung up. I reckon they got my name and number from the WHOIS domain info, since that’s probably the only public spot that has my details. If you want to check if it’s a scam or not, just search "trade 12 scam" and see what comes up.

Rang me on a daily basis, and to be honest, I typically ignore calls from unknown numbers, but curiosity got the better of me this time.

They seemed to have my name and claimed that I had signed up with them, expressing interest in earning a bit of extra cash through online trading - neither of which is remotely accurate.

Not a clue how they acquired my details, but I've since decided to block the number.

Since about 15/4, ive been getting loads of calls from different UK numbers like +442065394281, +447873098002, and +442082801323. When i answered the last one, the caller had an Indian accent but spoke with an American tone, claiming i signed up for some second income scheme with trade 12. I told her i never agreed to anything or gave my details. She sounded annoyed and kept saying why i was denying it when she had me registered. I said id filed a complaint and she just hung up. Does anyone know how to track down who’s behind these calls? It’s really starting to feel like harassment!

A chap with an Eastern accent struck up a conversation and, to my surprise, addressed me by name while discussing possible financial prospects. I had a rather peculiar conversation today with a bloke who had a Filipino accent. He claimed I had registered for some app aimed at generating an extra income. Naturally, I inquired how I supposedly signed up, to which he mentioned it was done through an email, citing an ancient email address I hardly ever touch. I requested that he send me some details through email instead, but he was adamant about continuing the discussion over the phone, insisting it was part of their customer support protocol. Got a call on my phone today with no warning. I always ignore calls from unknown numbers, especially after reading what happened to others. Feels like the safe choice to me.

got a call from 020 3700 0000 today. like others mentioned, the lady on the other end said i’d apparently registered for their software. when i told her i hadn’t, she got really rude and started yelling, asking why i’d bothered signing up if i wasn’t interested and if i didn’t want a side income. eventually i just hung up and blocked the number. would recommend you do the same, honestly.

Got a call from this number earlier, but there was dead silence for about 10 seconds before they hung up. Looks like it might be spam, especially with what others have said.

Got a missed call but no voicemail, probably gonna get a call back with some rude remarks (would rather beat them to it!). Whatever, too much effort, just went ahead and blocked the number :)

This woman with an American-sounding voice rang me up saying I had $250 waiting. I told her I didn’t and she actually called me a liar. She definitely knew my name and kept insisting I had to claim the money. She was pretty pushy. I just ended the call and blocked the number straight away.

I received a call that I didn't catch and, unsurprisingly, no voicemail was left. I have a hunch that I might be in for a rather unpleasant follow-up call - one that’s bound to be quite confrontational. It seems wise to brace myself for what’s coming!

It rang, but no one said a word for like 10 seconds. I'm fairly certain it's a scam cause I could also hear some sort of recording beep in the background.

I’m being plagued by their incessant communications, despite my requests for them to take my information off their system. It's quite frustrating!

Some bloke with an Indian accent kept saying I signed up on their website. I’ve told them a few times to take my number off their list, but they keep ringing and shouting at me, saying I’m daft for not wanting extra cash or something. Best to just ignore them.

I’ve had enough of their incessant nagging regarding a supplementary income. I've made it abundantly clear that I want nothing to do with it, even going as far as to suggest I’d involve the authorities if they don’t desist.

I was met with sheer rudeness and hostility when I kindly requested that they refrain from calling me in the future. It’s quite maddening, really. There ought to be measures in place to tackle these kinds of intrusive calls!

There was this Indian bloke, I could hardly catch what he was saying at first but then he started going on about "you signed up for a second income". I told him I hadn’t, and he got all loud like "madam, you did, I’ve got your business info right here!" Proper pushy and kinda scary. I ended the call and blocked the number straight away. Stay clear!

Complete dodgy lot, Trade 12 (said like one-two). Ive been bombarded with calls nonstop on both my landline and mobile. Nobody should know my landline number as I just got a new one and havent given it out to anyone. But somehow they had my full name too. What’s going on at BT? I am ex-directory anyway. I told them flat out they’re a bunch of scammers and to quit calling me. I hung up, but then some angry woman rang back and shouted down the phone that cos I called them scammers she was gonna take £100,000 from my bank, and there was nothing I could do about it.

I received a call from a gentleman with an Indian accent, who claimed he was contacting me regarding a supplementary income opportunity that I supposedly inquired about. When I expressed that I hadn't asked for any such details, he accused me of being dishonest and then proceeded to hurl insults, calling me a plonker before abruptly ending the conversation. Quite the rude encounter!

This company is proper dodgy, claiming I signed up to make extra money. When I say I didn’t, they just call me a liar, then tell me “doesn’t matter, you’ll get calls every day” before hanging up. It’s so annoying, aggressive and downright nasty. I’ve spoken to a woman with a sort-of American accent and a bloke who sounded Indian. Both were super defensive, rude, and weirdly full of themselves.

a guy with an indian accent phoned me saying it was about a second income i'd supposedly asked for. when i told him i never requested any of that, he called me a liar and then ended the call by calling me a wanker before hanging up.

Just got another call about online trading - total scam! Don’t fall for it or hand over any cash!
