2 years20th June 2024, around 11:45am. A woman spoke to me with a clear, natural voice - definitely not some automated message. She mentioned my address and seemed aware I’d been getting loads of scam calls recently, which feels like it’s everyone these days. Also, she knew I was on the state pension. Her pitch was this lifetime scam call block service that apparently stops those calls ringing at all. How you’d even test that, I’m not sure! Then she said it cost £100 as a one-off fee.
