She mentioned my address and seemed aware I’d been getting loads of scam calls recently, which feels like it’s everyone these days. Also, she knew I was on the state pension. Her pitch was this lifetime scam call block service that apparently stops those calls ringing at all. How you’d even test that, I’m not sure! Then she said it cost £100 as a one-off fee. When I heard that, I told her no thanks and immediately blocked the number.3 yearsI’ve been subject to relentless calls from these individuals; it’s becoming quite bothersome.3 yearsI recently encountered a con artist posing as a representative from Curry's PC World concerning a mobile phone offer. They tried to lure me in with an unbelievably low price for an iPhone 14, clearly attempting to swipe my banking details.
