Some lady with a thick accent called me, asking if I had a minute to answer a few questions. I asked her where she got my number from, but she said that wasn’t on her list of questions. So, I told her I had a question for her instead. She hung up straight away after that.

Got a call from a guy with an Indian accent who apparently had my full name. When I asked where he got my details from, he said "a public database." I tried to get more info about his business and tax ID but he just ended up hanging up on me.

Some bloke picked up and sounded like he already knew who I was, asking me to confirm my name. I told him it wasn’t me, and then he asked if I was related or something. I told him he’d got the wrong number and then he hung up. Felt pretty sketchy, if you ask me.

I tried ringing the number back but it said it wasn’t valid. No idea who it was, so I’ll just leave it be.

Got a call from a bloke with a strong Indian accent claiming to be from UK Preference or something like that, but the line was all crackly and I couldn’t catch much except him asking for 'a minute of my time'. When I said I was busy and didn’t have a minute, suddenly it turned into wanting 'a few minutes' instead, like that made any sense. I told him straight I really was short on time and then he lost his cool right away, snapping at me over the phone in a proper rude way before just hanging up without letting me say anything back. Proper cheeky behaviour if you ask me.
