I don't recognise it at all and have no clue what the caller might be after. I hardly ever get calls from unfamiliar numbers like this. First time it rang, I didn’t pick up, but left my phone free. Then, they rang me back straight away, but this time the number showed up with a plus sign but strangely missing the country code (44). It appeared as +02036973177, which looked quite odd, so I ignored it again. Figured it could be some sort of business because I don’t know anyone with a landline that number. Did a quick search online and couldn’t find any solid info on who they are, just a bunch of complaints from others dealing with the same mystery calls. Anyone know who this is or what they want? These calls keep coming through and it feels like one of those dodgy PPI scams or maybe some legal firm looking to make a quick buck. The people on the line seem to have accents from around Lancashire or possibly Cheshire - I reckon that’s where they're operating from. They usually ring either around 10 in the morning or between half six and eight in the evening, at the same time as those other annoying cold calls. I’d really like to know if anyone else is getting this, because I don’t want to be stuck with a debt that’s not mine. I’ve had to switch on caller ID just to keep track of these calls.
