Hello, I've been getting calls since October 12th, lots of times a day, from numbers in the UK like 044 20 3696 8889 and 044 20 3696 8433. I live in France. Cheers.

This appears to be dodgy behaviour. I received a call, but there was silence on the other end before they abruptly disconnected.

I didn’t answer as there’s not a single positive review about this number. I’ve told my mates and family, and some have actually been tricked by this caller already. So be careful, everyone!

I recently had a curious encounter with a woman who was conversing in German. She mentioned she was conducting a survey and proceeded to ask a series of questions regarding my phone number and age, presumably to determine if I matched a specific demographic profile. Then, quite unexpectedly, she stated that due to some technical issues, she would need to ring me back at the same time the following day. Strangely, she insisted that she couldn't disconnect the call and insisted that I was the one who had to hang up. I can't help but feel a tad perplexed by the whole situation. I'm quite intrigued to see how this unfolds tomorrow.

I've no desire to engage with this number. The person on the other end had a strong foreign accent, and I couldn't make sense of what they were saying.

Got a dull voicemail from someone called Dennis Gray at HMRC saying I had to ring them back urgently. The tone was pretty intimidating, warning if I didn’t get back or have my solicitor contact them, there’d be serious ‘legal’ trouble. Definitely a SCAM!
