As usual, got one of those unsolicited calls from someone trying to find a reason to come by and have a look at my roof or loft. I reckon my number's been shared between companies since I had solar panels installed back in 2012, and again when I got loft insulation done in 2016. Ever since then, my landline’s been bombarded with non-stop annoying calls.

Got a call from a lady speaking with an Indian accent, talking about insulation. She mentioned my name and wanted to know if I owned the house. Since I don’t, we just hung up.

Had a call earlier today. The screen displayed the term 'recording', but there was complete silence on the other end, so I decided it was best to hang up and jot down the number. I’ve been inundated with calls recently from various companies purporting to conduct Government-backed energy or insulation assessments on residences around here. Quite frankly, I’m sceptical, especially when they assert they’re aware my boiler is outdated (no boiler here, thank you very much!) or what type of insulation lurks in my loft, claiming it poses health risks (we’ve got full-depth insulation neatly boarded over).
