Today, I received a rather dodgy automated phone call that seemed to be from some fraudsters pretending to be Amazon. They claimed that my Prime membership was due for renewal and that they intended to charge my credit card. They also urged me to hit various keys on my keyboard to select different "options." I reckon that’s the moment where the con kicks in, so I’d advise just hanging up and saving yourself the hassle.
