Today I got a call from one of those dodgy numbers pretending to be Amazon. They told me my Prime membership was about to renew and said they’d charge my credit card. The voice even asked me to press different numbers for options. That’s where I reckon the scam kicks in. Best thing to do is just end the call and don’t press anything.
