I got a call saying I'd won a Tesco voucher, which I hadn't entered any draw for. Then the caller started going on about playing seven lines on the EuroMillions. They claimed if I won more than a grand, the money would be paid straight into my bank by their company. They asked me to confirm my full name, address and date of birth - info they clearly already had. But then they wanted my bank sort code and account number, which made me uneasy, so I refused. I mentioned that normally with a lotto win, EuroMillions would sort the payment, so they shouldn't need my bank details up front. The person just cut the call off right after that.

Honestly, it would’ve taken forever, and I ended up bailing because even if you download and play the games, you’re forced to buy coins to hit the entry level needed for a bronze reward. Then you need eight of those plus a silver and gold one, which locks you into a monthly subscription you have to remember to cancel. I searched it up on Google and the reviews were all over the place, but one thing's clear - you’ll get bombarded with calls from folks who seem to have zero idea of what ‘leave me alone’ means.
