I got a call from 0203 031 6809 at about 4.20pm on Monday 19th December 2022. The person said they were from a group checking that local councils and housing associations deal with mould and damp properly. They asked me to explain the 'issue' I had. But as soon as I mentioned that a real organisation would already know the problem, they just hung up on me straight away.

Got a call from some bloke saying he was "Jack" from Claims First, telling me my details were apparently flagged for some compensation related to dodgy car finance. Problem is, I’ve never had a car, nor even held a driver’s licence. Usually, I mess about and waste their time, but today I was in a bad mood and ended up giving the guy a good rant filled with more swears than I oughta have used. Definitely felt better having a go at that mug!

Got a call claiming to be from the UK's tenancy deposit scheme, but it took ages just to get them to say which address they were talking about. Turns out, I haven't lived there since 2014, so pretty sure it was a scam. I stuck with it and chatted for about 15 minutes until they finally got fed up and hung up. Fingers crossed that made them think twice before trying to fool someone else. Let's all try to keep these scammers busy!

I've been receiving roughly four calls weekly from folks claiming to be from "Carphone Warehouse", despite never being their customer. It's quite vexing, to say the least, having to repeatedly request they take my number off their list. Just this morning, I had one of them call, and when I insisted he remove my details, he abruptly hung up. Really quite infuriating!
