I got a call from someone claiming to be from Domestic & General saying my washing machine cover was running out soon. They told me I could renew it for some amount. The bloke sounded quite convincing, proper British accent and all. But I told them to stop right then because I don’t have my washing machine insured through D & G at all.

Got a bloke on the phone with a British accent who was asking for my other half. When I said she wasn’t available, well actually that it wasn’t even her on the line, he just hung up straight away without saying a single thing. Bloody annoying!

Got a ring on the 4th of July from someone claiming to be from Domestic & General sayin my payments were stopped. Guy spoke proper English, seemed well educated. Call dropped midway, tried callin back but no answer. I get random calls from supposed providers like Talk Talk and BT quite a bit. This site really helps me figure out if they’re legit or scams.
