There’s always folks who just love to waste other people’s time. Even now with Covid 19 going on, they keep bothering people nonstop.

Got a call from some scammers claiming my insurance company sent them to me. I’d already had a call from someone earlier pretending to be from my insurer too. Since my insurer warned me about these fake calls, I was on guard. I told them I wouldn’t chat until I’d spoken to my claims manager. Rang my insurer today and they said they’ve never even heard of this outfit. Total amateurs, not to be trusted.

Got a call about a car crash I was in, they kept trying to convince me to go for compensation even though I wasn’t hurt at all. They made it sound like they worked for my insurance, but I’m not so sure.

SMILE CLOUD SERVICES CLAIMS SCAMMERS BEWARE! I used a fake spam email since they said they’d send paperwork for an accident claim, but nothing ever showed up - “email issues” they said. Then they kept pestering me for my home address and other stuff. DON’T HAND THESE MUPPETS ANY ACTUAL DETAILS. I wasted nearly half an hour feeding them rubbish just to annoy them back. :)

they rang me about some accident i was in, caught me at work so i wasnt really paying full attention while on the phone. kept pestering me, saying i wouldnt fill out this form they emailed me which then got blocked cos they thought it was shady. like why are they makin it so difficult for me? such a pain.

Got a call about an accident or something. I asked them how they even got my number. They said it came from some database where supposedly I had given my info saying I was in an accident. I told them I haven't been in any accident and don't even own a car. Then they switched it up, saying I was a passenger. Told them straight to stop calling me again.

someone rang me claiming they were doing a survey about prepaid funeral plans. seemed like a sales pitch to me, which should be banned by the fca's rules on cold calls. really not a nice way to start a call. i kept talking to him (got a bit cheeky) to make sure that’s all it was. as expected, it was just a front for pushing some survey. total waste of time and just as irritating as any other unsolicited caller.
