I picked up and all they did was hang up right away.

Some bloke called and asked if he could speak to me by name, saying he was from D.A.G. I was like, "Who now?" and he just kept saying D.A.G. Said something about my washing machine insurance running out soon. I told him that’s total nonsense, I don’t have that insurance, so bugger off! No doubt, it was a total scam.

This number just rang me but they didnt leave any voicemail. After seeing a few other posts about it, I think I’ll just block it.

They claimed to be from DAG about a washing machine at first, but when I told them I knew it was a scam because they used my old name I haven’t used in over a decade, they just hung up on me.

I received a rather courteous call from a gentleman named Daren, representing the DAG group. He informed me that the warranty on my washing machine is nearing its end and offered to assist me in renewing it right away, ensuring I'd retain my coverage. However, when I inquired about the make of the machine he had on file, he abruptly ended the call. Close one, that!

My mum got a phone call about washing machine insurance, the person asked what she usually pays, and when she said around £200, they offered to cut it down to just £66.... The dodgy bit? When she asked if it was from the catalogue company she knows, they just said yes without missing a beat.

Got a call from this number earlier, and when I tried to pick up, I couldn’t get rid of the annoying call tone. No one spoke when I answered. Kind of reminds me of a call I got yesterday from a lady with an American accent claiming she was from Cyber Security, warning me our computer was at risk unless I… Didn’t bother hearing the whole spiel, just slammed the phone down. Pretty clear it’s a dodgy scam.

I didn’t pick up because if they don’t bother leaving a voicemail then it’s probably a scam. Honestly, I just end up blocking all numbers like that. No point wasting time with them.

I found myself in a bit of a predicament with this number that just wouldn’t stop calling. Every time I tried to pick up, it was as if the line was dead silent. Quite the nuisance, really. I have a gut feeling it’s the same number that rang me a few days back. There was this rather insistent American lady claiming to work in Cyber Security, threatening that my internet would be disconnected unless I complied with her dubious demands. Naturally, I ended that conversation rather swiftly!
