Had a rather peculiar encounter with someone purporting to be from a Home Information Centre. When I mentioned that I couldn’t track down any details about that firm online or via Companies House, they suddenly switched their tune and identified themselves as Europlus. They were hawking some so-called 'free' home improvement vouchers, which, to be quite frank, seemed more like a clever ruse to harvest personal information for UPVC companies. Quite dodgy if you ask me!
