They keep ringing me up all the time, trying to push energy deals on me. I've told them more than once to stop calling, but they just don't listen. I'm quite elderly and certainly don't appreciate being bothered at 9pm. Is there any way to make them leave me alone?

Since 28/10/2015, this number has been ringing me non-stop. After about 5 days, I had to block it. Looks like these dodgy callers are at it again, probably scammers or criminals because they keep ignoring the ICO and TPS lists here in the UK.

Kept ringing loads of times, but when I picked up, there was nothing but quiet on the other end.

I picked up but there was silence on the line so after waiting a bit I just ended the call.

They rang me up two times in less than an hour. The first time, no one spoke and they just ended the call. When they called back, someone answered but then they dropped the call straight away.

This number rang me twice. A bloke answered, sounded proper Scottish, said he was from "Energy UK" based in Sheffield but his call centre's actually in Glasgow - explains the accent I guess. I received a rather curious phone call today from someone claiming to represent the “Energy Centre.” Interestingly, she had a Scottish accent-strangely enough, it seems like all the unsolicited energy-saving calls I get are from folks with that accent. Is that just a coincidence or something more peculiar? Anyway, she babbled on about a supposed 'windows scrappage scheme'-I couldn't help but wonder if she was referring to Apple products! To top it off, she addressed me by name and insisted that I’d filled out a survey, which I certainly hadn’t. Honestly, I'm not inclined to make any purchases from unsolicited callers; it just doesn't sit right with me.
