I got a call from a woman who wanted to know if I was a particular individual. Instead of saying yes or no, I just asked who was on the line. She told me she was with ECC, which didn’t ring any bells. When I asked what ECC stood for, she said something like “European Claims Council” or something similar. I had a good chuckle and told her to buzz off before hanging up. Pretty sure it was one of those timeshare scams.
