Got a call out of the blue about a housing claim. Didn't ask for it and it felt a bit dodgy, might be some kind of scam.

Got a bloke on the phone with a thick Bay of Bengal accent about wall insulation. I kept asking who it was a few times, then asked him to spell his name using the NATO alphabet. He said something like Charlie Alpha Alpha Victor India Tango Yankee, so I said oh, cavity wall insulation then. Cheers, bye!

Since I’m involved with specialised housing, this has got to be a scam. Definitely dodgy.

Pretty sure it was just a spam call, best not to ring them back! Honestly, I’d say never return calls from unknown numbers since you really can’t tell how much they might charge or what they might be up to. The number looked unfamiliar to me, so I just ignored it.
