3 yearsGot a call from someone saying they were with O2, which is my provider, but the bloke had a really thick Indian accent. He promised I'd save about ten quid off my monthly bill. I asked him what I was paying right now and what my name was, thinking if he was genuine he’d have all that info straight away. He then claimed privacy laws stopped him from telling me anything 😂 Did not bother with him any longer, told him off in no uncertain terms and blocked the number straight away.3 yearsGot a call pretending to be from O2, but it’s definitely a scam. The caller had a really thick accent, so it was hard to follow what she was saying. She was trying to say something about a 6-month discount on my O2 bill, but I don’t even use O2. Once I told her that, she suddenly switched gears and said they work with all the big UK networks and asked which one I was with. I didn’t bother continuing and just ended the call then.UK3 yearsGot a call from abroad, a bloke with a thick accent saying he was from "The O2 network", but I don't even have O2.
