A woman with a strong foreign accent called, claiming to be "Jenny" from some health consultancy. She said they were doing a nationwide UK health survey and wanted my views. Whenever I tried to stop her, she kept going and repeated herself quite a few times. When I asked if she could send me something in writing before I gave any info, she suddenly went quiet and hung up. Felt quite dodgy and a bit irritating, so be careful with calls like this!

Got a call around 11:15 this morning but I didn’t pick up 'cause I thought it sounded dodgy. When I rang the number back, it just showed up as an unknown caller. I’ve blocked it now - definitely not to be trusted. Watch out, could be scammers!

I got a call from a lady speaking with a really strong accent and the connection was terrible. She claimed to be from some kind of Medical alert company and even mentioned my name. She said the NHS had asked them to reach out to older people to sell this emergency system that you wear as a pendant or a wristwatch. It’s pretty upsetting that these firms are targeting the elderly like that.

She said she was following up on a previous call I supposedly had with someone else from their company, which I obviously hadn’t. She kept trying to push some health insurance stuff on me. I told her I was sorted and ended the call quickly. Seems like they're going after people over 60. Definitely wouldn’t trust them.

This number rang me up saying they were conducting a survey nearby. I told the woman I wasn’t interested and asked them to remove my number from their list. I’m sick of people calling me all the time with these dodgy scams, barely a day goes by without one of these calls.

This number kept ringing my 93 year old mum, but luckily BT stopped it right away. Over the last year, BT has blocked like 485 calls from them, and I’ve blocked about 300 myself. It’s just crazy this is happening. We’ve had to hide all her bank cards and papers now, worried she might get tricked or scammed.
