This number rang on my old folks' mobile. They didn’t pick up on 09/06/22. Then, a similar number called again on 14.06.22 and my mum answered. It was a lady with an Asian accent, but mum couldn’t really get what she was saying and ended the call straightaway (02036409700).

No clue who was ringing me, but the woman sounded like she was losing it totally! When I picked up, she was just giggling and muttering nonsense, then cut me off! I tried ringing her back but couldn’t get through? This is just one of loads of 020 numbers that keep buzzing my phone!!! Sometimes it’s something about a magazine sub, other times it’s insurance stuff!!! Honestly, I’m so fed up!!! Blocking doesn’t help, because they just switch up the last digits and start pestering me again!!

Just got a weird call from Dolly Gupta and her gang, claiming some life insurance nonsense. Funny thing is, she said she was calling from South Africa, but it honestly came across like one of those classic Indian call centre scams. These lot are buzzing our phones like there's no tomorrow, and meanwhile, people keep trying to come over in boats across the Channel. I used to chuckle whenever my old man said "the country's going downhill," but after forty years, he's nailed it. These outsiders don’t share our culture or values at all.
