For the last couple of months, I've been getting calls about some supposed investments - definitely feels like a scam. I just ended up blocking the number.

Since early August they've been ringing me nearly every other day, sometimes more than once. When I pick up and stay silent, there's total silence on the other end and no background sounds either. But if I actually say something like hello, the phone just gets cut off straight away. Also, it's weird because the calls come from an Oman landline number, so it's technically an international call for me on my mobile.

Someone called me and asked if I was who they thought I was, and I told them yes. But then the person got a bit rude, which was pretty annoying.
