02036379963 Summary (Read all comments)

Phone number ☎️ 02036379963 👆 is reported as a persistent scam targeting UK residents, particularly vulnerable and elderly individuals, by falsely claiming that their washing machine insurance or warranty is expiring. Callers, using common British names and accents, pressure recipients into providing bank or card details over the phone, sometimes quoting partial machine information to appear legitimate. The operation often uses convincing background noise and redirects to seemingly official numbers, but the companies involved are typically unregistered or linked to dubious entities. Victims report unexpected charges, delayed or absent refunds, and aggressive tactics. It is strongly advised not to share financial information, to verify insurance status independently, and to report suspicious calls to relevant authorities.

About 30 minutes back I got a call with some offer from folks speaking with southern English accents. They definitely tried to push me into agreeing quickly. I'm pensioner and never take deals over the phone. When they pushed for my card info, I got suspicious and said I only deal by post. Fed up with the pressure, I hung up. Later, I checked my paperwork and saw my insurance wasn’t up for renewal, so I rang my provider who told me it was a scam.

On the 10th of April, Andrew rang me up, telling me my washing machine insurance had run out. Honestly, it threw me right off. Fingers crossed the bank spots this as a scam - I can't look at my account till tomorrow morning. He asked if I wanted to pay in four instalments, but he never mentioned the company’s name and spoke really fast. I can't believe I fell for it, I usually don’t even pick up the phone during the day!

Beware, this seems like a scam. Ryan sounded pretty convincing at first, but then he asked for my credit card info - definitely dodgy.

They called saying they were from some washing machine insurance company, trying to get me to renew. It all seemed fine until they suddenly asked me for the long number on my card to 'verify' my details. Seemed fishy to me.

This number is totally bogus.

BEWARE! Just like others have said, they’re faking being Domestic and General to try and get you to renew your washing machine cover. I spoke to a bloke called Elliot this time. They go by Domestic Assure Guard, but when I checked, the company is actually IFLM Limited at Companies House, number 10091988, run by (I think father and son) Douglas Hogarth and Anthony Hogarth. Don’t fall for it and definitely report them to Action Fraud.

So this nice bloke gave me a ring and when I asked where he was calling from, he quickly jumped to asking if I wanted to sign up for a 3 year contract. I told him he was welcome to ask me anything over the phone, but I wasn’t going to agree to anything without seeing the info first. Just as I said I already have a policy for my appliances and to send me the details, he suddenly hung up on me. Bit cheeky!

They called me again about some washing machine insurance, some bloke named Albert this time. He sounded really nice and they tried to come across as proper genuine, but I wasn’t falling for it a second time. Seriously, don’t hand over any bank info, they’re definitely up to no good - total scammers!

Sounds like a classic scam to me. Some bloke rang saying he was from the Domestic Appliance Group and my washing machine warranty was about to run out today. He said if I renewed right then, I could get a 33% discount. I just said I'd ring back later.

My partner got a call about insurance for her washing machine, sounded dodgy to me. Things got fishy when they wanted her bank sort code - she hung up straight away.

Got a call from some bloke named Billy who said he was with DAG, telling me my washing machine cover needed renewing. The call came from an Ely area code - 01353 771878 - but he gave a different number to ring back on, 02036379963. I double checked with my partner and we don’t have any insurance on the washer, plus it was part of the house sale ages ago, about four years back. This definitely smells like a scam. Steer clear, seriously.

Got a call from these lot pretending to be my folks, trying to freak them out into coughing up their card details for some insurance they never signed up for. Truly hope karma catches up with these scammers soon.

I got a call from someone named William who claimed my washing machine insurance was getting cheaper this year and asked for my sort code and account number. When I told him they should already have those since I pay by direct debit, he insisted it was company policy because it was a renewal. I didn't hand over any info as I was out and didn’t have my details with me, plus I didn’t feel comfortable sharing them without checking the number first. I’m planning to ring the contact number from my service agreement tomorrow to make sure what's going on.

I got a call from 02036379963 saying my washing machine insurance was about to expire. Turns out it actually was. When I asked who was calling, the person on the other end just mumbled something unclear. I then asked what type of washing machine I had, but they couldn’t answer. They kept saying they already knew I had one and even claimed they had my name and address. I told them I’d be reporting this to both Ofcom and trading standards since I never agreed to have my info shared with anyone else. After that, they just hung up on me.

Got a call claiming to be from my washing machine insurance provider. Funny thing was, I'd actually been talking to my genuine insurer just a few days earlier, and knew my policy was about to renew soon, so I assumed this was a legit reminder. They were really courteous and even seemed to know my bank info, but never once said which machine or the company’s name. Looking back, all insurers should send clear renewal notices upfront with the amount owed and what I paid last time. This was totally a scam - best just to ignore and hang up.

My 87-year-old grandad got a call from someone saying he needed to renew insurance for his washing machine. Without much thought, he gave them his information. The next day, he found the actual paperwork and saw the insurance was valid till June. He phoned the company to sort it out, but they said they never called him. When I looked at his bank account, I noticed £200 had been withdrawn.
