Many recipients report repeated daily calls, silent lines, hanging up when questioned, or disconnection if their details don’t match the scammers' records. The number appears to operate from a call centre, causing distress especially to vulnerable individuals. Got called by this number two times today. The first time it was a bloke who just kept saying "hello" over and over. The second call was just weird background noises.

Got a call from a bloke with an English accent claiming he was ringing about renewing the warranty on my Bosch washing machine, said it was their annual check-in. Told him my machine’s like 11 years old and that I’d never had this offer before, and he just ended the call right away. Pretty sure they’re after my bank details to put a direct debit in place, which I’m not having. Stay sharp, these lot are definitely trying to scam you!

For the past couple of weeks, I've been getting around five calls daily from these people. I would block the number on my landline if I could, but sadly it’s not possible. It’s really starting to get to me, especially since I’ve just been diagnosed with depression - the calls are making things harder for me. I really wish they’d quit ringing.

They keep ringing me nonstop every single day. So I decided to call back today and guess what? The number didn’t show up. Reading the reviews here about extended warranty makes me think it’s probably from Hotpoint since I own three of their appliances. One time I got tricked ‘cause I was expecting a call from the doctor and picked up. I told them that if they didn’t remove me from their list, I’d report them to the police since these calls are harassment and I already told them to stop. They just didn’t care and ended the call.

I received a call from them regarding the same matter. When I informed them that my warranty was still valid, they suddenly said it was an error on their part and promptly disconnected the call. Quite bizarre, if you ask me!

They've been ringing me daily this past week. I just don't pick up if I don't know the number. If it's something that matters, they can leave a voicemail. Still, they're pretty stubborn about it.

Got a call about some extended warranty deal. I told them we'd just bought a dishwasher and already have a warranty, then they quickly ended the call. Definitely sounds like a scam to me.

Some woman called and it sounded like she was making noises like she was enjoying herself or something, lots of moaning and groaning down the phone. As an old bloke, I thought you had to call a certain number and pay for that kinda stuff. Anyway, this number's popped up a few times now, usually about my warranty on washing machines, TVs, dryers or fridges. They keep ringing but never seem to understand I’m not interested or I already got cover. Who in their right mind buys cover for a washing machine over the phone anyway? Usually you get it when you buy the appliance.

Got a call about an extended warranty for my washing machine even though it's been out of warranty for years. The guy said it’s fine, they’d still cover it. Sounded too good to be true, so I agreed. He tried to arrange everything straight away, but I told him I didn’t know who he was or if he was legit and asked him to send info by post instead. He said alright and wished me a happy Easter. Didn’t give him any personal info. BE CAUTIOUS.

These warranty calls keep coming, often about a week after I’ve done one of their surveys. I always pick up for the surveys but just feed them rubbish answers. When I let them know I’m not being honest and just messing about for fun, they usually get proper annoyed. I tell 'em it’s nice to have a chat since I’m a bit on my own and lonely. Haha. Doesn’t stop them thinking I’m just wasting their time! Oh well.

They've rung me loads over the past few days. First up, something about my Samsung TV - I don’t even own one. Then they tried to talk about a Hotpoint washing machine, which I don’t have either. After that, it was a Hotpoint dishwasher, again, nothing like that here! When I told them nicely that I’m not interested in extended warranties, they just hung up on me really sharpish, but still kept calling me daily. Had to block the number in the end.

About a week ago, some guy named Pradeep rang me about a washing machine. I told him I never said anything about it being broken and then just hung up. But today, he called again and when I picked up, he called me by my last name and even mentioned my home address! I have no idea how they got all my info.

First they ring you saying it’s a survey. They ask what brand your washing machine is. Then, roughly a week afterwards, you get another call offering to extend your washing machine warranty for the brand you told them. Seems like a total con to me. The initial number was different but clearly linked somehow.

Just got a call from this number, but nowadays I barely pick up my phone anymore. I usually get about half a dozen cold calls every day, some are pushy salespeople, others are scams, and loads of them are those annoying PPI claims. Our home phone gets it too, though maybe not quite as often. Sometimes different phones in the house ring one after the other. I really wish it would all just stop. I don’t even feel safe answering anymore, so I have to check messages to see if it’s something important. It’s become such a nightmare. And now my phone’s ringing AGAIN, it’s EFD!!!

Got a call from this number earlier today. Right away I guessed it was one of those scams. The person said it was about my Hotpoint washing machine. I told him I hadn’t owned one in over 30 years and joked if he was trying to collect antiques or something, then he just hung up. A bit annoyed I didn’t mess with him more. They’ll probably try again soon.

Some bloke rang me saying he was from Appliance Services, wanting to sell me a warranty extension on my Hotpoint washer coz apparently the original one was about to run out. Problem is, my washer isn’t even that brand. I just looked up the number here and have gone ahead and blocked it. Honestly, I reckon paying for warranty extensions is pointless. Electronic stuff either goes dodgy early on or it’s not properly made if it breaks down within five years - surely that’s covered under the Sale of Goods Act anyway.

This number has called me a few times today, and every time I pick up, there's silence and then the line goes dead. How are numbers like this allowed to keep calling folks? 02036377232, ring me again and see what happens. You’re breaking the law by cold calling, plus when I try to call back, it says the number's unavailable. Bring it on. I’ve dealt with way bigger companies than this lot. Do everyone a favour, stop pestering innocent people and go annoy your own family instead. Trying to scam money out of folks like this is just disgusting.

They rung me up again sayin my washing machine warranty’s running out today. Hilarious really, considering I’ve had that thing for nearly two decades. Didn’t realise I was covered for 19 years!

Since 11:30 this morning, this number has rang us about 8 times already, it's really getting on my nerves. I've chosen not to say anything when I answer now, fingers crossed that'll sort it.

They've rung me half a dozen times about some washing machine. Added them to my scam list now.

I received a call informing me that the warranty on my washing machine had lapsed. I promptly corrected them, stating that this wasn't accurate. They were quite apologetic and then wrapped up the conversation.

Heads up: got a call from this number claiming they wanted to do a survey! They sounded quite polite and clever, so I was a bit wary. I ended up telling them about my TV brand, washing machine and phone provider, just to see what would happen. Next thing I know, within two days, I had 3 calls from 02037695992 and 02031307740 trying to sell me extended warranties on stuff I’m not even sure I own. This site is really handy for spotting these dodgy calls. Cheers for that! Frank Abagnale (definitely not my actual name)

My phone went off and it sounded like he was chatting to someone else in the background, then he said my name all sad-like. When I replied, he just laughed and said "you’ve been pranked" before hanging up. What a muppet!

The phone rings, but as soon as I pick up, there's silence on the other end and then the call just ends. When I try to ring them back, it tells me the number isn’t valid. Strange!

I got a call from this number and it just went straight to voicemail. Then some young bloke started swearing and being really rude for ages before hanging up. Proper annoying. I tried ringing back but the number didn’t show up properly. How’s it possible nobody’s able to track them down or shut them up?

Some guy selling warranties for washing machines called me, sounded Asian. When I asked him to leave me alone, he basically told me to f-off. I gave him back the same. Blocked him straight away. Reported it to: Network iNet Telecoms Ltd (Voipfone) Area London.

Some bloke called asking about our Bosch washing machine. When I said we didn’t own one, he just mumbled something about a mix-up and hung up. I tried calling Bosch to let them know, figuring they might want to deal with these dodgy calls, but they couldn’t care less. They said this sort of thing happens all the time and there’s nothing they can do about it!

This number rang me and sounded like it was from some sort of call centre, but it was obvious that it was just a recorded message. The bloke's voice was really old and he kept asking me what washing machine I had and my age. He rattled off a load of brand names and seemed to try and get me to pick one, pretty much putting words in my mouth. I finally said I had a Bosch, which happened to be one of the last names he mentioned. Then I told him I wasn’t answering any more questions and hung up. Then, a couple of days later, a guy called saying my Bosch washing machine’s warranty was about to run out. I told him straight I didn’t own a Bosch. He just said "Oh, sorry," and hung up. That call from before suddenly made sense - it was a total scam. I’m 79 and could have easily been tricked into paying some dodgy fee. Honestly, people like this should be caught and given a proper prison sentence, a long one too.

A posh sounding lady called saying her name was Elise and that she was ringing about my Hotpoint washing machine warranty. Thing is, I’ve been married 52 years and never owned a Hotpoint. I instantly knew it was a con since just yesterday I had a sketchy call where no one said anything, then they hung up. I reported that here and read loads about warranty scams on appliances, so I was on my guard. I even told them I don’t have a washing machine and they just slammed the phone down. It’s mad that these numbers aren’t getting busted.

I got a call from this number and it sounded like it was from a call centre, but I could tell it was just a recorded message. The guy's voice was quite old and he started asking me my age and what kind of washing machine I had. He rattled off a bunch of brands and was basically putting words in my mouth. When he mentioned Bosch, I said that was mine too, since it was the last one he said. Then I told him I wasn’t going to answer any more questions and hung up. A couple of days later, a man called saying the warranty on my Bosch washing machine was about to expire. I told him I didn’t have a Bosch machine at all. He said sorry then quickly ended the call. After that, I realised the earlier call was a scam. I’m 79 years old and could’ve easily been tricked into paying a fee. These scammers should definitely be caught and locked up for a long time.

Just got a ring from this number. Some bloke, sounded like he was well pissed and maybe a uni lad, started belting out a tune then dropped the call. Proper weirdo. Wish he’d stuck around so I could’ve shouted a few rude words back at him.

No idea who this is, my phone guardian blocked the call. After reading through the comments, looks like it’s some kind of warranty company. I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number for good.

On 210117 at 5.40pm I let it go to answerphone, sounded like a call centre with loads of giggling in the backround. This is the third time they've rung, the first was about my washing machine warranty running out but they had the wrong model, also its just been renewed. Feels like these calls are really harrasing now.

They claimed to be ringing about a washing machine warranty. When I said the one they mentioned was gone ages ago, they then asked about my current one. I told them it’s already got warranty cover, but they kept pushing that theirs was far better. I finally said no thanks and ended the call. I tried calling back to complain about the persistent calls, but guess what - the number didn’t show up. Feels like a dodgy scam trying to get bank info to me.

this number has rung me around 4 times today and even left a voicemail, just got another call asking for my husband. I told them not to phone again as he’s unwell, she said it was about the washing machine warranty which had expired. I told her that warranty ended like 10 years ago. she then just hung up on me. THESE FOLKS ARE SUCH A NUISANCE AND NEED TO BE DEALT WITH!
