Got a call from this number too, and honestly, we haven’t heard anything about break-ins or trouble around here. I can’t imagine how disturbing this kind of telemarketing could be, especially for older folks or anyone who might feel vulnerable. It’s really not on.

They were saying they’re putting in security alarms in places with loads of crime. Funny thing is, they knew the street I’ve been on for like 12 years, and as far as I know, there’s not much trouble here at all. I just told them if I ever thought there was something dodgy going on, I’d get in touch with the local cops myself.
