Got a call earlier claiming I had some call blocker and they were trying to upsell me. Then they started asking for my bank info, I said no way, and the woman got kind of rude. So I just told her to forget it and ended the call.

Got a call earlier today on the 6th of July from someone saying BT had been charging me for blocking nuisance calls but the price was about to go down. They told me I’d get a small box that would stop all calls. The caller gave me the number 020336371238 and tried to get my bank info, but I said no and they just ended the call.

This is the fourth time they’ve rung me today. The first time, someone tried to push a service to block nuisance calls and asked for my bank info, claiming my account manager (which I reckon was them) would call me back to verify the payment. They even asked for my password! When I mentioned I’m on the TPS list, the person, calling himself "Sam," said it was actually to lower my call charges and gave me his phone number when I said I'd think about it and get back to him. I didn’t pick up any more calls since I have Caller Display. Definitely a SCAM.
