They keep saying they're from O2, calling me all the time. I've blocked them but their number still shows up on my call history with that blocked symbol, so I know they're still trying to get through! It's super irritating but at least I’ve stopped them from actually getting to me. Looks like I’m not the only one dealing with this either.

Got a missed call earlier and after looking it up here, it turned out to be a scam. They rang again and I played along, they asked if I was on pay as you go and wanted an upgrade. I told them I’m on contract and not up for an upgrade for another 18 months. Then they asked if I needed an extra line. I said no, they were quite polite and I was too. Seems like the goal is to get you pick a phone and plan then ask for card details, probably to nick your info like address, birthday and other personal stuff.

They ring me daily, I usually just let it go to voicemail but picked up today. Some bloke with a foreign accent said his name was Andrew and he was calling for 02, asking if I was on 02 Pay As You Go. I told him no, then asked how he got my number. I said I’d contact 02 myself and said goodbye.
