Got a call from someone with a Liverpudlian accent claiming to be from Legal & General. He wanted to see if I was up for renewing my cover for another year and asked how old I was. Then he said he needed to check with his supervisor and to hold on. I was driving at the time and figured it was dodgy since nothing popped up on my screen, so I ended the call straight away - no way was I hanging about. This happened just when the local radio was running those daily prize calls. Later on, when I got home, I looked at the phone and saw the number marked as suspected scam.
