Just got a call from this number and then shortly after, received an email from The Times saying my debit card was expiring soon. So, I went ahead and updated my payment info on their site.

This number called me twice, once a woman and once a bloke. I’m pretty sure they’re not from The Times or Sunday Times. Don't know how they even got hold of our phone number. There's no way either paper would have any cause to ring us. Feels like a total scam to me.

Twice now I've had calls from someone claiming to be with The Times & Sunday Times. Really don't know how they managed to get hold of my number. Honestly, it makes me pretty wary about who's on the other end.

This number rang me earlier claiming they were calling from the Times newspaper, saying my credit card was due to expire soon and asking me to confirm the details. They even tried to verify my address first, which seemed quite convincing. Then they wanted the full card number. It didn’t sit right with me, so I told them to email the request instead. Didn’t get any email though. Definitely a scam attempt!
