Got a call from a woman with a thick accent who barely gave me a chance to explain. She kept going on about whether I’d got any photos through a sky dish. When I asked which firm she was representing, she just kept saying things like ‘I’m only trying to ask if...’ but never actually answering me. After I kept pressing her for details, she just cut me off - thank heavens! I’ve lodged a complaint with the TPS. Caller: lady, definitely not native English speaker.

Got a call asking if I usually shop at Tesco or Sainsbury's. I said no just to end the call quickly, but she kept saying she'd send me a voucher. She even had my address but luckily it was my old one. She claimed her name was Emily Smith, but her Indian accent made me doubt that! She never explained why she wanted to know, so I just hung up. Got loads of calls from what sounds like an Indian call centre, but it’s weird cause the number shows up as if it’s based in London.
