Got a call from a guy claiming to be from o2, saying he could give me a better deal than my current one. When he asked about my usage, I told him that if he was really with o2, he’d already have those details. I mentioned that if I wanted to save money, I’d ring o2 myself since my plan’s pretty good already. Ended the call there. Definitely a scam.

Someone rang me from 02036308789, a woman who said she was with the call blocking team at Call Guardian. She asked if I'd been getting annoying calls and when I said yes, she offered to help block them by taking my name for registration. I asked her again which company she was with to be sure, then told her I wasn’t familiar with Call Guardian and would look into the company before sharing any info. After that, I ended the call.

They said they were from Carphone Warehouse. Both O2 and my current network told me it’s a scam, so watch out.
