Got a call from some woman claiming to be from BT - sounded dodgy to me - saying my internet was about to be disconnected because of loads of faults on their systems. I gave her a bit of a mouthful and threw some tech questions her way, but she was clueless. Ended the call and tried calling her back using my kid's phone, but it just rang a few times then stopped. Really fishy.

He claimed my computer was showing error messages and told me to press the Windows and R keys together to open something called the Run box. Then he had me type commands to open the Windows Event Viewer, saying he’d check the errors to prove my PC was infected. I decided to go along with it for a bit, but then he just cut me off abruptly. This number, 02036302039, was on my phone earlier. A woman named Jenifer said she was from a company called Vindows, but I reckon it was actually Mrs Gupta on the line. She asked me to follow her instructions but I was just out with the dog at the time. When a Tesco delivery van passed by, she suddenly asked 'what's that noise?' I quickly blurted out that the delivery driver had stolen my laptop and sped off, and that she'd better contact home delivery to fix it. After that, the call just cut out - bit suspicious if you ask me!

Got a call a moment ago, but there was a weird pause before anyone spoke, like the call was being passed around somewhere else. I even heard some other voices in the background. When the person finally did speak, they claimed it was about a Windows issue. I called them out straight away, said it was a scam, and they just cut me off right away. Pretty obvious dodgy call if you ask me.

I got a call from some bloke who already had my name and number, claimed it was about a Windows computer issue. I just hung up and decided to check the number here. Turns out it's marked as risky for good reason.

Got a call from this number claiming to be Microsoft. I told the bloke that I’m registered with TPS and that he wasn’t supposed to ring me. He just shrugged it off and said he didn’t care. Ended up hanging up on him.

Somebody pretended to be from Windows about my computer. After I blocked their first number, they called me again but from a completely different one.
