Hello! I'm in a bit of a similar situation and considering taking legal action against my service provider, Three. I'm curious about what results one might expect from a small claims court. Any insights would be greatly appreciated. Cheers!

I've fallen victim to a scam as well. It didn't hit me until just now. What can I do to retrieve my funds, and how can I put a stop to this nonsense? I really wish for it to be resolved!

3 is a dreadful company that seems to facilitate these dodgy scammers; it’s as if they’re in cahoots with them! I lodged a complaint last month after a sneaky £5 fee appeared on my account, and was told I had been unsubscribed. Lo and behold, this month the scammers have raised the charge to a whopping £13.50! 3 insists they can’t assist me. Interestingly, I’ve heard that EE and Virgin actually give their customers the option to opt out of such fraudulent practices. I’ll be making the switch to one of those providers!

I’ve just discovered that £45 has been taken from my account by this so-called Gamazing service, which I never even signed up for! How on earth does Three permit such a thing? I thought I'd taken measures to block any extraneous charges beyond my monthly plan. Now I'm left wondering how I can get a refund for this - it feels incredibly unjust!

I've noticed a few changes on my bill lately regarding this Gamazing Helpline. Just last month, I forked out £18 without realising it. Now, this week, my bill has skyrocketed to £22! What’s going on? Does anyone have a clue how I can put a stop to this?

Over the past few weeks, I discovered I’d been shelling out £4.50 each week for absolutely zilch. I shot off a text with "STOP," and while I doubt it was without cost, I later received a notification confirming my unsubscription. Here’s hoping that’s the end of it!

Absolutely dreadful experience with Gamazing and Three. I encountered the same fraudulent attempt aimed at me, and despite Three's assurances that they would rectify the issue and reimburse my funds, they failed to follow through. Consequently, I decided to take my business elsewhere. After lodging a complaint with the Ombudsman regarding Three's service-or lack thereof-it seems they claimed they were unable to deal with it. As a next step, I've escalated the matter to OFCOM and am preparing to take the issue to small claims court. Has anyone else dealt with this Gamazing nonsense, or are Three the only ones caught up in such shenanigans?

I’ve experienced a similar dodgy tactic aimed at me. After Three assured me they'd put a stop to it and refund my cash, but failed to follow through, I decided to switch providers. I've raised my concerns with the Ombudsman regarding Three’s service, only to find out that they claimed the situation was beyond their purview. Consequently, I’ve now escalated my grievance to OFCOM and am preparing to take it to small claims court. Is it just Three embroiled in this Gamazing nonsense, or have other companies been caught up in the same scandal as well?

Hey everyone! Just a quick heads-up - if you're in a similar boat, I recommend contacting your mobile provider directly. I reached out to Three, and they confirmed that they're processing a full refund for the charges from GAMAZING. Plus, they've initiated a request to cancel that service altogether. Not entirely sure how everything works on their end, but it does provide a bit of peace of mind. They mentioned that the cancellation for GAMAZING should wrap up within about 48 hours. Hopefully, this info proves useful to some of you!

I would like to request a refund, as I've noticed that £18 or £22 is being deducted from my account every month. Can someone please advise me on how to put an end to this? Thank you!

I’m completely baffled as to what sort of chargers these are?! I haven’t made any calls to that specific number. Can anyone please advise on how I can reclaim my money and put an end to this nonsense?

my wife got a text from 85074 claiming she was signed up for gamazing and would be paying £4.50 each week unless she texts STOP or something. they didn’t say if texting stop would cost her extra or how much, which seems dodgy. she’s never signed up for any such service and doesn’t even know what gamazing is. definitely looks like a scam to me.

Throughout November, this number has been ringing my wife's phone every week around 11:02 in the morning, beginning on the 7th. On the bill, the calls are listed as coming from mb.gamazing helpline with the number 0203627010. For just four calls, my wife ended up being charged £18, which seems really steep. She was actually at work each time these calls happened, so we don’t understand the purpose of the number. Has anyone else experienced this? Does anyone know who they might be?

I’ve experienced the very same problem with this fraudulent activity. The most effective step is to reach out to your mobile network provider - they should be able to help you resolve it. I’m with Three, and when I contacted their customer support, they promptly cancelled the service in question and even refunded my account. Honestly, their customer service is top-notch and really helpful!

I received a call from 3 and then got a text saying to reply with 'stop'. I’m baffled as to how they managed to do this in the first place. After managing to reach them, I was hit with half a dozen texts claiming they were refunding £4.50 that had somehow been charged to me five separate times. However, 3 mentioned that the charge would remain on my bill until the refund processed. I don’t gamble at all, and I certainly didn’t agree to any of this nonsense.

It’s absolutely a massive con, without a doubt! I’ve been around the block a few times and can tell you, my device was just unexpectedly navigating away as I was perusing the internet. For heaven’s sake, can’t the telecom companies put a stop to these crooks? Honestly, it’s beyond frustrating!

Initially, I began receiving messages notifying me that I had subscribed to some service, and they’d be deducting £4.50 from my account weekly. I brushed it off, assuming it was just another one of those dodgy phishing scams. However, a few months down the line, I realised that £4.50 was being siphoned off my Three network bill every week. My usual £23 monthly fee ballooned to £42 and often more! I thought I was simply using too much data on my phone, but it turns out gamazing was quietly pilfering my balance without my knowledge. I’ve encountered a similar issue with Mobodiol in the past; it's clear they're nothing but SCAMMERS. Best to steer clear of them!

9 years
I had to ring my mobile operator to get that pesky limit lifted. After that, I finally managed to send a STOP message. Now, all I can do is twiddle my thumbs until Monday to find out if they’ve sorted my unsubscribe request and if I can get my money back, seeing as I haven’t touched Gamazing at all. It seems I didn’t close the popup correctly, which led me to accidentally sign up. When Gamazing sent me a text, I assumed it was some dodgy scam and completely bypassed it. Honestly, the best course of action is to get in touch with your network provider.

I've been having a right hassle trying to send "STOP" - no matter how often I try to text it, it just won't go through. I've even said I'd pay a bit extra for the message to get delivered, but to no avail. Any advice on what else I could attempt?

I’m absolutely fed up with being charged £4.50 week after week! That adds up quickly, and as a single mother, that’s a considerable sum for me-£18 to be precise! I've had enough of this and am seriously considering reporting this to the appropriate authorities. I demand a refund, and I want it sorted out immediately!

I've never ventured onto this website before, but on the 1st of this month, a number managed to snatch £22.50 from my account. I'm quite anxious about this situation now. I really need to reclaim my money. If anyone has any information regarding this, I’d greatly appreciate a heads up. How do I go about retrieving my funds? Please, I wish for this to be sorted! Any assistance would be incredibly helpful. Cheers!

I've been hit with charges from these folks, and I don't even dabble in mobile gaming, nor have I purchased anything from them. They've been taking £4.50 from my account every month without so much as a by-your-leave. This is outright deception! I demand that this be halted immediately!

Today, I discovered a significant sum being deducted from my account over the past couple of months. I have a password on my phone, and I've never used this website at all! Why on earth are they siphoning off £4.50 every week? How do I put an end to this? I truly hope you can sort this mess out quickly, as this is quite a hefty amount for me… much appreciated!

I've just noticed that a significant amount has been debited from my account for the past couple of months. I have a password on my phone, and I’ve never actually visited this website. Why on earth are they withdrawing £4.50 every week? I really need to find a way to put a stop to this. I trust you’ll sort this out swiftly, as I’m a single mum and that’s quite a bit of money for me. Many thanks!

I must express my concern as I never signed up for your service, yet there’s a deduction of £18 from my bank account. I’m not involved in gaming at all! I kindly request an immediate refund. You can reach me at 07476237682. Thank you.

I’ve never signed up for any gaming services, yet as soon as I renewed my contract with 3, I was hit with this rogue charge on my initial bill. I suspect it’s tied to some sneaky terms and conditions that they basically bamboozle you into accepting! When I tried to call their office, no one picked up, which isn’t shocking considering it seems like a complete sham! I’m definitely escalating this matter and reporting it to the relevant authorities! Honestly, who has a spare five quid to siphon off to these swindlers these days?

I've been wrestling with the same frustration since the 27th of August. Finally managed to track down their email: [email protected]. Sent them a message asking to cancel my subscription, but I'm in the dark about whether that will actually work, or if I’ll see any of my money back.

Hello there. I've noticed that you’ve been deducting money from my phone bill for the past three months! It started at £13, then jumped to £18! As a single mum, I’m certainly not playing around with this. It's rather concerning that money is just being taken from people. Every month I’m left worrying about how to manage my finances and avoid any hassle. When I send a text, it indicates I’m unsubscribed, yet the charges persist each month! My number is 07454455584. I’ve attempted to call, but I keep encountering messages saying you’re unavailable to speak at the moment.

I encountered a similar dilemma earlier today. I rang up Three to sort it out, and they informed me that the sole method to halt the messages is to shoot them a text with the word "STOP." Apparently, this text would incur a fee of 10 pence. However, Three hasn't charged me for it. I've just sent the message, and I received a response stating, 'FreeMsg: You have successfully unsubscribed from Gamazing, and there will be no further charges. Need help? Call 02036270110.' I recommend contacting your provider and discussing the matter with them. Hopefully, this information proves useful!

As an employee at Three, I've recently received a flood of grievances concerning a firm named 'Gamazing', which has left me quite irate as well. Quite a number of our customers have asserted that they never subscribed to Gamazing, yet they continue to receive unwanted messages from them despite their efforts to halt such correspondences. To the best of my knowledge, Three has not endorsed this dubious venture, but the volume of complaints is rather staggering. It’s high time this company faced serious repercussions for their unscrupulous actions; they seem to be preying on unsuspecting individuals. While Three has the ability to impose limits on accounts, unfortunately, this doesn’t extend to those pesky short code messaging firms like Gamazing. It’s my earnest hope that the appropriate regulatory bodies take a firm stand against Gamazing, as their practices are undoubtedly swindling countless people.

I've been trying to get hold of them for ages, but to no avail! I've left multiple voicemails, yet nobody seems to answer. It's been a frustrating nine weeks, and I’ve been shelling out £4.50 weekly, with no end in sight. My provider, Three, is utterly useless; all they do is advise me to call the number highlighted in the top comments, but yet again, it's just silence on that line. I can’t even figure out how to cancel this subscription and put an end to these incessant charges. It feels as though they’re deliberately avoiding calls, ensnaring folks into this subscription trap!

I suggest reaching out to the Phone-paid Services Authority and Ofcom via their online platforms to lodge a complaint. It might also be wise to sign up with the Telephone Preference Service (TPS) to help thwart those pesky scammers, such as Gamazing. If you've already raised this issue with Three, they are obliged to process your refund. From my experience, it appears that this hassle seems to be confined to those on the Three network.

I’m beginning to question things with Three; why on earth aren’t they doing anything to put a stop to this ridiculous Gamazing scam? It seems to be targeting solely Three customers, and I can’t help but wonder if they’re somehow involved. Why just Three customers and not users of other networks? It’s a bit suspicious, isn’t it?
