I got a call from someone claiming to be with Superiotto, saying I’d won some free tickets for the EuroMillions draw after entering a Nando's competition online (which I definitely hadn’t). They told me I’d have to pay £39 a month to claim the ‘free’ lines - sounded dodgy to me. What freaked me out was that the person actually knew my full name and where I live. I spent about five minutes arguing over what ‘free’ actually means just to waste their time, then they hung up on me. It all felt like a total scam and made zero sense.

Somebody called me selling kitchen gadgets, probably a telemarketer. I wasn’t sure if it was a scam or a real offer, but I wasn’t interested at all. So, I just said no thanks and he said alright then and hung up.

I’ve been getting calls from this number every day, often at times that make no sense at all. When I finally picked up, I told the bloke that the person they wanted didn’t live here anymore. He said sorry and assured me they’d remove my number from their records so I wouldn’t get any more annoying calls.
