I responded quite courteously when they called, but had it been my husband on the line, the exchange might have taken a rather different turn, to say the least! Honestly, these callers are nothing short of a nuisance! We typically just answer and stay quiet, and miraculously, they end up hanging up!

I had the unfortunate experience of dealing with a rather desperate salesman who just wouldn’t slow down. He rattled off his pitch as if he was racing against the clock and, frankly, didn't have a clue on how to connect with me. When I politely declined to put my money into his so-called capital investment scheme, he shockingly told me to bugger off. What a charmer!
