The second they started talking, i ended the call right away. Those call centres from Calcutta are infamous for ripping people off. Actually, any 020 number i don’t recognise is usually a scam. I get loads at my job, so i’m pretty clued up about these idiots.

There was a bit of a delay before someone picked up. A woman with a strong Indian or Pakistani accent was speaking, and you could tell she was somewhere noisy like a call centre. She got my last name right but had no clue about my first name. Clearly a sketchy call, so I just ended it.

Got a call from +442036082718 just a day after I blocked +442036082708. Looks like they just switched the last two numbers, probably the same scammer. Answered and there was no sound at all.
