Phoned asking for the landlord, but when I asked who was calling, they just hung up without a word. Really rude and sudden. Seems like they ring businesses pretending to want to buy them out. Once the company ownership switches over, they vanish without a trace, leaving just a tiny 'security' deposit of about £100. If you try calling back, the number doesn’t show up, so it looks like a spoofed one to dodge both victims and the authorities. Totally don’t trust them; block straight away and tell your staff or anyone connected not to share any details.

So annoying! Got two calls today from someone saying they were 'NBS'. The first bloke got really rude and started swearing, then just hung up when I kept asking what 'NBS' actually means as a company name. He just kept saying it stood for 'November Bravo Sierra' or something. Second guy pretended he didn’t know anything about it, as you'd expect. I just told them both (like I always do with annoying cold callers) that we’ve got CTPS on our phone, and that sorted them out nicely, as usual. :)
