There’s this kind of cold call that’s been going about for a while now, where they talk about a made-up car insurance claim, saying you or someone you know might have been in a crash. Had to block the number, the connection was terrible. Someone from another continent rang saying I’d been in an accident last year (not my fault) and that I was due compensation.
